The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has condemned the arrest campaign against Palestinian college students by Israeli occupation forces.

In a press statement, Hamas said the occupation forces' storming of Birzeit University in occupied Ramallah and arrest of its student council president and members emphasises the vital role of the student blocks in resisting the occupation.

The Palestinian resistance movement underscored the unwavering commitment of Palestinian students to fending off the Israeli colonial occupation and terrorist settlers' attacks.
