The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has hailed all positions condemning illegal Israeli settlement activity, land annexation and assaults against Palestinian worshippers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. 

Hamas spokesperson Jehad Taha said Wednesday that such stances taken at the UN Security Council session, which was held Tuesday, highlighted the Israeli occupation's crimes against the Palestinian people and their lands and holy sites. 

In a press statement, Taha reaffirmed the necessity of the international community's role in placing pressure on the fascist Israeli occupation government to put an end to its practices and assaults against the Palestinian people.     

The Hamas spokesperson called on the international community and all Arab and Muslim nations to urgently work towards putting an end to the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, especially Palestinian worshippers at places of worship.
