Information Office of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" condemned  what Al- Hayat newspaper in London published on Sunday regarding  the results of the meeting between Hamas delegation and the  Egyptian leadership. It pointed out that the newspaper tried to  play a “ suspicious misleading role”

In a press statement, Information Office said that what was reported  by  Al-Hayat newspaper  had allegedly reported on Sunday January 29th, 2017 that  that a senior leader in Hamas whom the paper didn't mention his name, contrasted  completely with the statements of Hamas leadership about the results of these meetings.

It added that such irresponsible actions made by a reputable newspaper which is supposed to be reputable and  respectable  and which does not practice  yellow journalism.

The office called upon the newspaper to respect ethics of journalism, to do operated professionally and to stop spreading  fabrications and lies.

It cautioned that perpetuation  of  this  policy could raise lots of suspicions  regarding its professionalism and credibility. It also brings to light the suspicious role  it plays which aim at distorting  the standpoints of  Hamas and its relations within the region.
