Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, revealed that it has recently received various Israeli offers through regional and international mediators calling for a prisoners exchange deal.
A senior leader in the Brigades, in a statement to Al-Jazeera, said that the proposal provided by the Israeli occupation doesn't meet the minimum demands of the resistance.
The spokesperson then denied the authenticity of the news published by Israeli media which states that a conclusive deal has been reached in exchange for lifting economic sanctions imposed on the Gaza Strip.
He added that, with such inaccurate news, Israel is engaging in the psychological warfare to achieve this deal, adding that the issue of Palestinian prisoners is national and humanitarian and will not be resolved until their release.
The Al-Qassam leader further went on to reveal that instructions have been issued to the unit responsible for securing Israeli captives to take in consideration the latest Israeli violations of the rights of Palestinian prisoners.
