The representative of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas in Lebanon, Ali Barakah met with the Chinese ambassador, Wang Kigian at the Chinese embassy in Beirut.

Barakah discussed the recent developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territories with the Chinese ambassador such as the ongoing Israeli harassments on the Palestinian land and holy shrines; the last one of which has been the land grab law that contradicts with the International Law and the United Nations resolution "2334".

He also talked about the Israeli government's plans to judaize Jerusalem and the continuous Israeli attacks on the Islamic and Christian places at the holy city of Jerusalem. 

Karakah asked the Chinese government to intervene to halt the aggressive Israeli actions in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and the relentless Israeli blockade on the costal territory of Gaza.

Moreover, the two sides discussed the affairs of the Palestinians prisoners at the Israeli prisons and the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. Among the most significant topics which they discussed were the drastic cuts of the UN services in education, health, and relief.

The Chinese ambassador welcomed Hamas delegation at his country's embassy and stressed his country's commitment toward the Palestinian people until they fully retain their lawful rights and establish their state.

Kigian concluded by giving a promise to inform his government about the Palestinians suffering in camps, noting that his country is very keen to maintain good relations with the whole political spectrum of the Palestinian people.
