The spokesman of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas," Fawzi Barhoum, said that the US State Department’s  rejection to include the human rights situation in Palestine in the agenda of the UN Human Rights Council's is biased towards the Israeli Occupation.

In a press statements released Monday, Barhoum said that the US rejection paves the way for the continuation of Israeli crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, further allowing Israeli to cover up such actions.

He added that a speedy consensus on a joint Palestinian and regional unity needs to be achieved in order to expose the Israeli violations and crimes as well as developing different means to counter the biased US policy in favour of the Occupation.

Brahmoud also called on the international public opinion to express itself in favour of the Palestinian cause and achieve justice for Palestinian rights.
