Press statement
Fawzi Barhoum, a spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” stated the following:
The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" views the rejection of the US State Department to include Palestinian human rights in the agenda of the UN Human Rights Council as completely biased towards the Israeli Occupation which further encourages the continuation of Israeli violations and crimes against the Palestinian people while at the same time allowing them to cover up such actions.
This requires immediate consensus on a joint Palestinian and regional unity to expose the crimes and violations of the Israeli occupation and means to confront and thwart the biased American policy towards Israel. The international public opinion also needs to be mobilized in order to draw support and achieve justice for the Palestinian cause and rights.
