The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas welcomed the investigations findings that the Australian government has carried out to look into the Israeli charges against the director of operations of the "World Vision" office based in the Gaza Strip, Mohamed Al-Halabi who was detained by the Israeli Authorities last year while he was travelling via Beit Hanoun crossing.

Al-Halabi was accused of charges of allegedly tunnelling Hamas and diverting the organization's funds to support Hamas military activities, but the recent investigations stressed that there is no proof whatsoever  to support the Israeli claims against the international relief worker.

The spokesperson of Hamas, Fawzi Barhoum, said that all the Israeli charges against the relief workers who work hard to alleviate the Palestinians' suffering are groundless and driven by serious Israeli attempts to halt the relief activities carried out by these humanitarian organizations, noting that Israel must set them free.

The international organization "World Vision" has also initiated its own inner investigations which are yet to be released later to respond to the Israeli charges against the organisation's director of operations  based in the Gaza Strip.
