The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas,  expressed its disapproval of the allegations that media agencies circulated about the Movement coming under pressure in order to recognize Israel as a legitimate state. 

In a press statement released Wednesday evening, Hamas Spokesperson, Fawzi Barhoum, said that these lies and allegations are baseless.

Barhoum added that all parties are well aware of the Movement's firm stance on this issue.

He called upon the media to be accurate and professional before publishing news and to stop fabrications aimed at distorting the facts and undermining the Movement’s position.
