The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas mourned the death of the Palestinian martyr, Mazen Faqha, who was assassinated last night in Gaza City. Hamas asserted that the crime will not go unpunished, noting that the Israeli Occupation will pay a heavy price.
Hamas said in a press release that the martyr was a military leader within Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in the occupied West Bank. He was freed during the swap prisoner deal, which took place between Hamas and the Israeli Occupation in 2012.
The Islamic Movement holds in a press release the Israeli Occupation and its collaborators fully responsible for the crime, noting that Hamas knows very well how to deal with such crimes.
The group added that the martyr's blood will never go in vain.
Faqha was assassinated in front of his home in Gaza City, but he is originally from the West Banker village, Tobas, but was expelled to the Gaza Strip as part of the swap prisoner deal.
