Press Release issued by Fawzi Barhoum , the spokesperson of the Islamic Resistance Movement “ Hamas”:

We,  in the Islamic Resistance Movement “ Hamas”, highly  praise  the resolutions of the UN Human Right Council in its 34^th session held in Geneva , in which they affirmed the illegitimacy of the Israeli settlements and the  right of self-determination of the Palestinian people.  The resolutions condemned the crimes and the violations committed by the Israeli Occupation against the Palestinian people, their land and holy places. They called for holding the occupation accountable for its crimes and violations.

We express our thanks and appreciation to the Member States who voted  for these resolutions and stood by the Palestinian rights. We do affirm  the need to internationalize the resolutions and take effective and practical steps from the international community and human  rights institutions to deter the Israeli occupation , to protect the rights of the Palestinian people and to support their just cause.
