The deputy head of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas Mousa Abu Marzouk said that the Palestinian reconciliation does not need  more talks, noting that the reconciliation can be achieved when Fatah swiftly implements what have been agreed about in the previous discussions.

He urged the Palestinian Authority to reverse its biased policy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and to halt the latest unjust controversial decision of imposing 30 percent deductions on the public workers' salaries in Gaza.

Abu Marzouk added that media should be neutralized and never used to ignite the internal situations in the occupied Palestinian Territories, noting that the PA is welcomed to visit Gaza to shoulder  its responsibility in serving the Palestinian people in the poverty-stricken enclave.

Concerning the administrative committee that was previously founded to serve the Palestinians in Gaza in light of Ramallah-based government's indifference toward the strip, the senior Hamas official underscored the necessity of the committee and its vital role and refused Abbas’s demands to abolish it.

 On another subject, Abu Marzouk pointed out that the national council should not be  held in Ramallah with the absence of many of its member. He noted that it was agreed to  convene the meeting in Beirut  thereby allowing all Palestinian factions in the administrative committee and the national council to attend.

He expressed his wishes of holding a successful and fruitful meeting that can bring together all the Palestinian parties.
