The higher committee of Hamas detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons issued the following:

The higher committee of Hamas detainees declared its total support for the "Freedom and Dignity" Hunger Strike that will be launched tomorrow by a group of committed Palestinian prisoners to extort the stolen rights and to defend the Palestinian prisoners' human rights.

We hail our steadfast prisoners for undertaking this strike, and we confirm that we will be following the updates around the clock, as we will never hesitate to back our prisoners in their just cause.

We warn  the Israeli Prison Authority against harming any of the hunger strikers. Any potential attack on our prisoners will detonate the conditions at all the prisons and we will keep united in face with the Israeli intransigence on our prisoners.
