The spokesperson of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Fawzi Barhoum said in a press release that the Israeli campaign to put the Palestinian Authority under pressure to halt the financial allowances given to the families of the Palestinian martyrs, casualties, and prisoners aims to target the Palestinian national social  fabric , and to disfigure the continuous sacrifices of the Palestinians  in  their path towards liberation.

Barhoum added that the Palestinian prisoners and martyrs are freedom fighters, and what they do in resisting the unfair occupation is truly justifiable under all international laws.

He pointed out that the real terrorism is manifested in what is being perpetrated by the Israeli Occupation through its blatant violations of human rights against the Palestinian people which  does not exclude minors and women. He noted that blockading two million Palestinian residents in Gaza is also a form of this vicious terrorism.  

Barhoum concluded that all forms of the American support for the Israeli Occupation are an unequivocal green light for the Israeli terrorism to drag on in its heinous crimes against the oppressed Palestinian people.
