Head of Hamas’ political bureau, Khaled Meshaal, said it will not take long to force the occupation to release Palestinian detainees.

In a speech broadcasted on Al-Quds television Friday afternoon, Meshaal said that the hunger strikers, through their empty stomachs, are delivering their message to the world about their cause. 

He added, “We must unite in all international arenas in order to deliver the detainee’s message, and do the impossible for their freedom”.

He also said, “ It’s our duty to pay the highest sacrifices for the detainees, and we must unite behind their cause till their freedom”.

He pointed out that nations do not forget their martyrs and detainees who sacrificed their lives for them, noting that the strike renews the recall of their cause and the sense of responsibility towards them.
