The female branch of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas rallied in a protest to voice their condemnation over the ongoing Israeli blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.

A handful of women demonstrated at the local electricity company and expressed their anger over the renewed electricity crisis now strangling  Gaza and posing major threats to all facets of citizens' lives.

Itimad El-Tarshawi, an official in Hamas, said during the protest rally that Gaza continues to pay the price over its firm stance regarding the Palestinian national rights, and nothing will succeed in debilitating the Palestinian will.

She hailed the unique steadfastness of the Palestinian woman who remained highly committed to  the liberation's mission, and never daunted by the siege and successive aggressions.

El-Tarshawi concluded her speech by urging the international world to intervene and restore justice to the Palestinian people and stop the ongoing suffering in Gaza.
