Tens of thousands of Palestinians rallied today morning to call for immediate lifting of the unfair siege imposed on Gaza, support Palestinians' national rights, and to back the prisoners' hunger strike.

The huge rallies took place across Salah Al-Dein, a main road which connects Gaza Strip from the north to the south responding to the National Committee for Lifting the Siege, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian factions have contributed in  the huge rallies.

Protestors who came from all areas of the Gaza Strip condemned the relentless blockade which enters its 11 year  now, accusing the chairman of the PA, Mahmoud Abbas of being part of this siege.

The angry demonstrators held banners that read "Abbas does not represent me", stressing their right to receive  proper medical care, electricity, right to travel, and basic services, and above them all their right of return.

The National Committee for Lifting the Siege urged the Palestinian masses yesterday to take to the streets to express their anger and refusal to the crises they’re going through..

The committee has launched a series of activities to lift the siege and draw the world's attention to the collective suffering in Gaza because of the ongoing Israeli blockade imposed on 2 million people in the Palestinian territory.

From its side, Hamas has encouraged the Palestinian public to partake in the rallies in an attempt to voice anger over the blockade and to support the Palestinian prisoners who have launched a hunger strike to extort their very basic rights inside the Israeli jails.
