The leader of Hamas and  the representative of Detainee Committee for National and Islamic Factions , Abed El Rahman Shadeed,  stated that 50 Palestinian detainees across the political spectrum in Israeli Occupation prisons will join on Thursday the Palestinian detainees  who have been on  a hunger strike since April 17 to demand basic rights and stop all forms of violations against them perpetrated by Israeli Prison Service.  

 He added , in a press conference held by  the Detainee Committee for National and Islamic  Factions in the tent  set up for solidarity with detainees in Gaza, that many leaders from various factions are among the hunger strikers namely the longest-held Palestinian prisoner, Nael Barghouthi, Abbas Hassan and Salem Salama from Hamas, Zaid Bisisi from Islamic Jihad and Ahmad Saadat from the Popular Front..

 It is worth mentioning that Al-Qassam Brigades has given the Israeli Occupation a time limit of 24 hours to respond to the Palestinian  hunger strikers’ demands; otherwise the lists of Palestinian prisoners to be released will  be increased by 30 prisoners for every day in which the Israeli Occupation delays addressing  the prisoners’ demands.

Nael Al-Barghouthi, Abbas Al-Sayyed ( vice head of the detainees ) , Hassan Salama , the journalist  Mohammad Al Qeeq, Ayed Doudin , Tawfiq Abu Arqoub ( coordinator of the Islamic Bloc at Birzeit University) ,Fayez Hamed , Ziad Awad, Tarek Adais, Fadi Hamad, Ibrahim Abu Sorour Atwa, Rajab Al-Tahan, Mahmoud Radaydeh, Muhammad Attiwi, Hamza Al Abbasi, Firas Nassar and  many detainees in Nafha and Nagev prisons whom  we have not  received  their names yet.
