Hamas will not recognize any unilateral moves, and will remain with the national consensus, says Abu Marzook
Member of Hamas political bureau Mousa Abu Marzook stated Thursday that Hamas will not recognize any unilateral moves, and will remain with the national consensus.
Abu Marzook said that any government to be formed must not exceed what has been previously agreed upon, adding that it must be a national unity government with the same tasks that have been agreed upon, not a political government.
Abu Marzook pointed out that it was agreed upon that it is the provisional leading frame, which includes general secretaries of the Palestinian factions, presidency of the Palestinian National Council as well as PLO Executive Committee, who should address political issues.
"We want all the Palestinian factions who signed Cairo agreement to meet so we can talk and consult over the next government's formation as well as stuck files of the reconciliation agreement, particularly the Legislative Council and inviting the provisional leading frame to convene, in addition to other terms of reconciliation." he added.
