Meshal expressed his wishes to present the experience of the democratic Hamas adding, " If it weren’t for the security conditions , we would invite people to attend the Shura Council, and perhaps hold a general conference where everyone could see for themselves that leaders are not idolized; yet are respected, and the power and decisioin making belongs to the institution.”
Meshal condemned the punitive measures taken by PA president against Gaza Strip saying, “ the fabrication of crises is not ethical.” Meshal added that Hamas who has faced three aggressions and 11 years of siege so far cannot be broken or forced to surrender through fabricated crises.”
