The new head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Ismail Haniya has received a letter from the Iranian foreign minister, Jawad Zarief  to congratulate him on the new position.

In his letter, Zarief expressed his wishes for Haniya as he starts his position in light of the current challenging conditions which  the Palestinian cause is going through, noting that Haniya can benefit from the earlier experiences of his predecessors. He added that efforts should be exerted by all sides to foil all conspiracies  plotted  by the Israeli Occupation and its allies against the Palestinians and their just cause.

At the end of his letter, Zarief reiterated his country's support for the Palestinian people and their resistance and urged them to continue in their path toward liberation.
