The member of the Political Bureau of Hamas , Mahmoud Al-Zahar, said, “ Our fundamental issues  are an integral part of our religion, and we shall protect the rights of Muslim and Christian Palestinians alike. We will not waive any inch of our land and holy places. “

During his speech at the 11^th National Conference for  Preserving the Palestinian Fundamental  Issues,  Al-Zahar affirmed Sunday that Hamas will not give up its arms and  shall adhere to the fundamental issues of the Palestinian people. 

He also  stressed that the key issues are imprescriptible  , objective, and cannot be  coerced by any power. He pointed out that defending the holy places in Palestine is an obligatory duty and  that they will work until every inch of the Palestinian lands is restored.
