The head of the political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh,  phoned Sunday evening the families of the detainees  who have been on a hunger strike since 17^th of April.

Haniyeh  called  Marwan Barghouthi’s wife, Ahmad Saadat’s wife, Abbas Al Sayyid’s wife , and Hassan Salamah’s family  expressing his full solidarity with the detainees and their just demands. 

He praised  the steadfastness of the heroes who have been on hunger strike for 28 days and also asserted that support of their fair cause is the whole nation’s  priority.

 In the same context, Haniyeh  called the family of Sheikh Abedullah Nimer Darwish expressing his sincere condolences  on the passing away of their loved one.
