The Head of the Politburo of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, received a phone call from the Turkish Foreign Minister , Mevlut Cavusoglu , to congratulate him on his election win as a head of the Political Bureau of Hamas.

During the phone call, Cavusoglu communicated the warm   congratulations of Racep Tayyip Erdogan  to Haniyeh assuring that Turkey will continue  to support the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza and Jerusalem on their just issues

In addition ,Cavusoglu praised the democratic approach of Hamas as well as the Political Document which was released earlier this month

In return, Haniyeh expressed his  thanks and appreciations   to Cavusoglu  assuring the depth of the relationship with Turkey and his hopes to further develop and strengthen the relationship, and also conveyed his greetings to the Turkish president.

Haniyeh pointed out that the political Document presents Hamas in any place inside and outside of Palestine, and that Hamas will begin to work within the Document framework  in time He also updated Oglu on the current situation and the recent developments.
