The leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Abdel Rahman Shadid said that what the Palestinian hunger strikers are going through of perpetual hardship inside the Israeli prisons along with the blatant Israeli violations in Al Aqsa compound requires a prompt action from our people and real support from our Arab and Islamic nations.

Shaidid added in a press release that the Israeli Occupation will pay a high price over his reckless policy against the Palestinian prisoners.

He concluded by urging the Palestinian people to unite their efforts to tackle the pressing issues including Al Aqsa and the Palestinian hunger strikers, and to involve in direct conflagrations with the Israeli Occupation Forces to send out a message that our prisoners will never be abandoned from their people and that their just cause is alive in the minds and hearts of our people.
