The spokesperson of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” , Hazem Qasem,  issued the following statement:

The statement made by Fateh leader, Jibril  Rajoub, regarding  waiving of the Buraq Wall, is  a national crime which insults the Palestinian people and their holy places.

This statement sends a clear message to the occupation  that the Palestinians have explicitly and officially relinquished   a sacred, national and historical place, and one which also unveils  the national and moral decline of some Fateh leaders.

We in ,Hamas, confirm  that such positions  provide clear  evidence   that some leaders of  Fateh movement  insist on  abandoning the Palestinian issue  and  all  of its national and religious fundamentals  for the sake of  promoting  themselves  to the Israeli society as     “ doves “ of peace at the expense of their issue and homeland.

We assert  that such statements only serve to  underestimate  the Palestinian struggle and the sacrifices of the Palestinian people. We also  call  upon the members of Fateh to reject these unpatriotic - statements which have been   recently repeated by a number of their leaders.

We urge the Palestinian factions to shoulder their responsibilities and to stop whomever  dares to abandon the  Palestinian issue.
