The spokesperson of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Hazem Qassem has stated the following:

Hamas mourned the death of Aied Jumaa, the martyr who was killed in cold blood yesterday on Gaza's eastern borders while he was participating in the confrontations erupted to protest against the ongoing Israeli aggression on our holy shrines, land, people, and the unjust blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.

We in Hamas hail our Palestinian people for their unique commitment on the liberation mission, and their resistance to their enemy occupiers. In this regard, we call upon all Palestinian factions to set up a national program to confront the Israeli Occupation and break the Gaza siege.
