The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, hailed the recent statement released by the Qatari foreign minister, Mohammed Al-Thani in which he considered Hamas a legitimate resistance organization for all Arab countries.

The spokesperson of Hamas, Fawzi Barhoum, said in a press release issued today that the minister's statement reflects the genuine principles that Qatar has toward the Palestinian people and their resistance. He added that Hamas truly appreciates the long-standing supportive Qatari stance toward the just Palestinian cause.
