President of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, Thursday evening called the Sudanese President , Omar Al-Bashir, to send his warmest congratulations and blessings for the holy month of Ramadan.

During the call, Haniyeh emphasized the support of the Sudanese movements and Arab nations to reform the bonds between the two nations and to achieve unity, stability and security of the Arab peoples.

He considered that internal disputes are not in favour of the Arab and Islamic world, pointing out that the Israeli occupation benefits from such conflicts in liquidating our nation and cause.

He also pointed out that the unity of nations can only be achieved by prioritizing the Palestinian issue.

For his part, President Al-Bashir stressed the position of his country in its quest to achieve unity of the Islamic nations, wishing Haniyeh the best of luck in his new role as head of Hamas.
