The deputy of the Hamas parliamentary bloc in the Palestinian Legislative Council, MP Mohammed Shehab, held the Israeli Occupation fully responsibile for the life of the kidnapped MP, Mohammed Al-Tal, who was transferred from administrative detention in Ofer Prison to the Siddiqu Hospital in Jerusalem.

MP Mohammed Al-Tal suffers from several chronic diseases and needs special medical care, and his continuous detention in Israeli prison will increase danger imposed on his life. 

Shehab  called for the immediate release of MP Al-Tal and all other  kidnapped MPs in Israeli prisons, saying that the abduction of deputies violates international laws and is a crime against diplomatic immunity.

He also condemned the administrative detention of Palestinian prisoners, pointing out that this is a clear violation of international and humanitarian conventions.

He called upon international parliaments and human rights organizations to work for the release of Palestinian prisoners who are subjected to violations of their rights which should  be safeguarded by international conventions and laws.
