The deputy head of the Political Bureau of Hamas in Gaza Strip, Khalil Al Hayyah, assured that Hamas  made all possible efforts to  break the siege on Gaza Strip  asserting that the policy of siege is an attempt to break the will of the Palestinian people.               

In his speech  on the first day of Eid El Fiter,  Al Hayyah stated  Sunday morning that Hamas tried all viable means to break the siege and found a positive response from its neighboring Egypt.

In the same context,  he  thanked  the fellow brothers in Egypt and expressed  the relief of  the people of Gaza  for the promises of Egypt to “ end  the siege on Gaza”

Al Hayyah pointed out that Hamas cannot forget the countries that supported the Palestinian people  adding, “ Thank you ,Qatar , for still providing support to the Palestinian people in Gaza in all aspects of life. Many thanks to all Arab and Islamic countries and to everyone   who provides help to the Palestinian people”

He also stated that Hamas wants to have relations with all Arab countries pointing out that Palestine is the central issue that unites the Islamic nation.

Al Hayyah prayed for the stability of the Arab nation and stressed that  ending  division between the  Arab countries is crucial for confronting the Israeli Occupation as their main enemy.   

Regarding the Palestinian resistance, Al Hayyah stated that extremism  has  no relation with Islam asserting that the Palestine resistance is not terrorism and it is a legitimate right adopted by all laws and conventions

He also pointed out that the Palestinian resistance has the means to free the detainees from the Israeli prisons  assuring that the Palestinian people will not give up or surrender to the schemes which aim  to divide them.

AL Hayyah paid tribute to the people of Jerusalem , West Bank , and all Palestinians inside and outside Palestine on the Eid.
