The Hamas representative in Lebanon, Ali Barakah , visited Tuesday the minister Abdel Rahim Murad, the head of the Union Party in Lebanon, in his office in Beirut.
Barakah congratulated the minister on Eid Al Fitr praying for the security and stability of Lebanon and unity and security of the Arab and Islamic nations.
They both reviewed the latest developments of the Palestinian cause and the consequences of the siege imposed upon Gaza Strip condemning the Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip.
Barakah stated that Hamas aims to strengthen its relations with all Arab and Islamic countries and refuses to divide them into rivals, and calls for resolving the internal Arab disputes.
He stressed that Palestine and Jerusalem need a united Arab and Islamic position to confront the Israeli occupation. In turn, Minister Murad welcomed the representative of Hamas praising his movement’s resistance and steadfastness during the siege imposed by the occupation and its collaborators. He also called for supporting the Palestinian people in their resistance .
Murad also called for uniting the Arab and Palestinian fronts to protect the Palestinian cause welcoming the recent understanding between Hamas and Egypt to open Rafah crossing as well as a prospective commercial crossing. He stated that this will reinforce the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
