Member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Musa Abu Marzouq, said that the’ deal of the century’ , which calls for integrating Israel in the region, will not pass no matter how bad the regional situation is.
Abu Marzouq stressed that the Israeli occupation will not be part of the region as long as Jerusalem and al-Aqsa are at the center of the Palestinian cause. He pointed out that the new support directed towards Zionism and efforts made at normalization with it isn’t acceptable, whatever the pretext is.
Abu Marzouq, in a tweet on his Twitter account, outlined the new US policy in what was known as a "deal of the century ."
He pointed out that the US policy calls for a Palestinian entity, not a state, as a federation with Jordan and Egypt while at the same time recognizing Israel as a Jewish state. It also calls for ending the refugees’ issue by settling them in the regions where they currently reside, in order to achieve comprehensive peace in the region.
