The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas decries in the strongest terms the cowardice terror act that targeted Egyptian soldiers in Sinai, killing and wounding several of them. This terror act does not only target Egypt's security and stability, but the Arab nations’  security and stability. Such incidents aim to plunge the region in an endless cycle of death and terrorism which is part of an overall scheme  aiming to steal the nation's wealth and assets.

These crimes serve only Egypt's and the Arab and Muslim nations’  foes.

We express our sincerest condolences to Egypt and its people, and we express our wishes of safety and security for the Egyptian people.
