The former head of Hamas political Bureau , Khalid Meshal, emphasized that the Israeli Occupation is exploiting  the recent developments to implement its projects  to Judaize and divide Al Aqsa Mosque.

In a  televised speech on the first anniversary of the failed coup attempt in Turkey, Meshal stated Saturday evening that Al Aqsa Mosque is in serious danger calling upon the Turkish people and their leaders to  make  the issue of Palestine, Al Aqsa Mosque , and the issues of the Islamic nations their top priorities.

He referred to the Turkish standpoint  which has been supportive of  the Palestinian cause and Turkey’s efforts  in working to end the suffering of the Palestinian people. Meshal also praised the Turkish role played  to achieve  reconciliation amongst the Palestinian factions and  to end division.

Meshal  paid tribute to the Turkish people for foiling  the coup attempt stressing the  Turkish people presented a courageous example in thwarting  the conspiracies made against the will of the people. Meshal pointed out , “ Turkey’s democracy  is threatened,  but the Turkish people can defeat  any plots made against their country. ”

He prayed for the prosperity of Turkey hoping that Turkey will continue on the path of progress without any internal or external obstacles.
