The head of the political bureau  of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, phoned Tuesday evening Sheikh Ekrema Sabri to check on his health after being shot by the Israeli  Occupation Forces.

Haniyeh stressed “ The battle of Jerusalem is our battle and we are all its soldiers” 

He also praised the steadfastness of the people of Jerusalem  and its scholars in thwarting  the Israeli  attempts to control over Al Aqsa Mosque.  

It is worth mentioning that Sheikh Ekrema, the preacher of Al Aqsa Mosque, was injured with rubber bullets fired by the Israeli Occupation  Forces during the Israeli attack against thousands of worshippers gathered in the vicinity of the Mosque.
