The leader at the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Khalil El-Haiya hailed the incredible steadfastness of the guards of Al-Aqsa mosque, reassuring them that they are not alone in their strife to defend the holy site.

He added in a tent erected to express solidarity to Al-Aqsa that the Palestinian people completely oppose any scheme or plan to change the reality on the ground or alter the identity of the holy shrine.

He noted that all the demonstrations and the protests prove that Al-Aqsa can never be forgotten and will remain a central issue for all Palestinians, warning that any conspiracy against the Palestinian steadfastness in Jerusalem will be aborted.
