A  delegation from the Political Bureau of Hamas headed by Izzat Al Rishq  arrived in Tehran at the invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran . The head of the Political Bureau of Hamas , Ismail Haniyeh, and Hamas leadership received an invitation to attend the  swearing- in ceremony of the Iranian President Hassan Rowhani, who was elected for a twelfth term.

A  senior delegation from Hamas is attending the ceremony in  a show of   gratitude towards  the role of Iran in supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in their just cause, and to further bolster  the  relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
