Israeli Occupation authorities transferred Jerusalemite  MP, Mohammed Abu Tayer, on Monday to administrative detention for six months.

The Israeli Occupation detained Abu Tayer, 65, who is an MP for the Change and Reform Bloc, on the fourth of August after breaking into his home in the Um Al-Sharayet  neighbourhood  located in Ramallah.

Abu Tayer was previously released from Israeli prisons on May 30 after  spending 17 months in detention.

He was also detained several times after Hamas won the 2006 legislative elections and spent more than 34 years in Israeli prisons.

In the same context, the Israeli Occupation court decided to release MP, Hassan Yousef, early September this year after obtaining a fundamental decision to not renew his administrative detention, where he spent more than a year and a half since his last detention in October 2015.

It is noteworthy that 9 other MPs from the parliamentary bloc are still being held in Israeli prisons where arbitrary administrative detentions have been imposed upon them.
