Hamas has called upon the Palestinian people to challenge the latest Israeli decision which  permits Israeli ministers and members of the Knesset to desecrate and raid  the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The spokesperson of the movement, Fawzi Barhoum, in a press statement on Sunday, addressed the Palestinian people urging them to protect and the holy sites from the Israeli Occupation regardless of the cost

Barhoum regarded the Israeli decision as another ineffective approach to place and Israeli foothold on Al-Aqsa Mosque in preparation of its seizure.  He also held the Israeli Occupation full responsible  for any future consequences and reactions that may rebound from  this decision.

Towards the end of the statement, Barhoum praised the Palestinian people for the tremendous steadfastness and resistance they have shown in the Palestinian struggle.
