Press Statement

Hazem Qassem, Hamas spokesperson stated the following:

Hamas mourns the death of Raed Al-Salhi, a Palestinian detainee who succumbed to wounds sustained following an Israeli raid south of Bethlehem in August. 

This crime is further evidence of the Occupation's continuous violation of Palestinian human rights  and a crime which the Israeli Occupation has to be held accountable for.

The movement stresses that the crimes of the Occupation against Palestinian detainees will not break their spirit nor weaken their steadfastness and the issue of the detainees will remain its top priority till they gain their freedom.
