Press Statement

Fawzi Barhoum, Hamas spokesperson stated the following:

Hamas considers the crimes being committed against the Muslims of Rohingya in Myanmar as a genocide and crimes against humanity. The movement also strongly condemns the international silence towards these horrific atrocities .

We call upon the international community to intervene and stop the massacres, torture and rape of innocent Muslims and hold those responsible and try them before international courts.
