The head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh  along with a high-profile delegation from Hamas has heft the Gaza Strip, heading to Egypt to meet Egyptian officials.  

The delegation will discuss different issues including the joint relations and ways of improving them,  as well as  discussing possible means to ease the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Working to achieve the internal unity is also a core issue that is yet to be discussed during the meetings that will be held between the two sides.

It is noteworthy to mention that this will be the first visit for Haniya to Egypt after electing him as leader for Hamas.
