The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) highly appreciates the great efforts exerted by Egypt to achieve the unity of our people and to end the division. Hamas has cooperated and acted responsibly and with a high national spirit and presented a national model and responded to all the requirements needed to guarantee its success.

 Reaching this deal is a real test to Abu Mazen and the Fatah movement as to how they will respond to the Egyptian efforts and the Palestinian people, who are looking forward to a practical and effective solution to achieve their ambitions through a national unity and genuine partnership.
