Fawzi Barhoum, the spokesperson of Hamas, issued the following:
We, in Hamas, highly praise the declaration of the UN Human Right Council to include the Israeli Occupation in the blacklist of the countries that violate human rights and those working in this field. We assure that this is a very important step to expose the reality of the Israeli Occupation and the injustice experienced by the Palestinian people.
We urge the international community , the International Criminal Court, and the international institutions to take practical steps to hold the Israeli Occupation accountable for its crimes and violations, and to support the Palestinian people to regain their freedom and to restore their stolen rights.
