The member of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Hussan Badran assured that Hamas will provide all possible means  to ensure  the success of the Palestinian reconciliation.

During an interview with Al Quds newspaper,  Badran stated,   “ We’re heading to Cairo for a comprehensive dialogue based on the previously signed agreements, especially the Cairo Agreement signed 2011”. He also pointed out that all the issues  will be negotiated. 

Badran asserted that Hamas aims to end the Palestinian division   in order to  dedicate   the time to confront the Israeli occupation.  He emphasized that finding mechanisms for  implementation   under the Egyptian sponsorship is the most critical  issue at this phase.

Badran explained that the delegation of Hamas to Cairo will include the leadership of the Political Bureau of Hamas inside and outside Palestine.

He also affirmed that Unity Government is now responsible for running  Gaza Strip and providing its needs. .

Relationship with Egypt

Badran assured that the relationship with Egypt is witnessing  tangible developments adding that Hamas will continue to  develop this relation to serve the Palestinian cause.

He  pointed out that there is a growing awareness of the importance of this relationship  both in terms of Egyptian national security and as being the highest interest of the Palestinian people.

Regarding  relations with Russia, Badran stated that Russia is one of the main supporters of the Palestinian cause and has good relations with all Palestinians adding that  the Hamas- Russia relation is not new.
