Following recent Israeli violations targeting Al-Aqsa and Ibrahimi Mosque, Hamas has called on different parties to confront and halt the continuous attacks carried out by the Occupation.

Leader of the movement, Ayman Abu Khalil, said in a press statement Monday, that the closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the face of Muslim worshipers and the prevention of raising the adhan (call to prayer)  are flagrant violations, and a serious precedent of the Judaization of Islamic sanctities, and deprivation of Muslims right to worship.

He pointed out that the latter violations, including the continuous mass raids carried out by hundreds of Israeli settlers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque complex, require swift and decisive action from all levels to halt the clear violation of the right to worship.

Abu Khalil also called on the Palestinian Authority to play its role in protecting the Islamic sites and exposing the crimes of the Israeli Occupation in international forums and the unjust reality it vies to impose on Muslim worshippers.
