Hamas leader Fathi al-Qarawi said that the blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation on the West Bank, city of Tulkarm constitute a collective punishment against the Palestinian civilians.  

In a press release, al-Qarawi called on the Palestinian Authority to prosecute the Israeli occupation in the International Criminal Court for its crimes against the Palestinians.

Al-Qarawi urged the media outlets to highlight Tulkarm’s tragedy and the Israeli blockade on the city and to expose the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.

He noted that the Israeli occupation forces have been conducting raid and arrest campaigns against the Palestinian civilians in Tulkarm and closing all the entrances to the city for more than one month.
