Hamas mourns the death of Omar Haithm Badawi, who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces during anti-occupation protests in al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.

We stress that the Palestinian blood and sacrifices proves that the Palestinian people will stick to their aspirations for freedom. This path, which has been chosen by the Palestinian people, will lead Palestinians to liberate their lands and establish their independent state.

Hamas salutes al-Aroub’s residents who are facing Israeli violations on a daily basis, including raids and arrests of dozens of Palestinians.

Badawi’s execution requires all Palestinians to continue the option of resistance, the only choice capable of putting an end to the ongoing Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and their lands and holy sites.
