Hamas hails the position taken by 70 Italian MPs and expressed in a letter sent to Italy’s Prime Minister to demand the government to condemn the Israeli occupation’s push to annex swaths from the West Bank.

We think that the increasing, widespread international opposition to the annexation plan voiced by different international parties and bodies highlights that the Israeli occupation is isolated.

Hamas calls upon all bodies and states that expressed rejection of the annexation to go ahead with serious and practical moves to block the colonial policy adopted by the Israeli occupation. Moreover, the international community must hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its heinous crimes against the Palestinian people.
